Character Overview

Eden is a product of imperial ambitions across the east. A military engineer, touching many disciplines across a lengthy career, her skill set and attitude was hard won in the administrative and military hierarchies of Garlemald’s occupied territories.Spending time between Legions and independent research projects, Eden lived most of her life in the shadow of garlean laboratories. Unsurprisingly, her lifestyle is often a reflection of those establishments; balancing research and innovation with practicable solutions and rigorous physical training.Generally speaking, she's serious, motivated, and pragmatically minded. Despite having abandoned her empire post by the conclusion of Garlemald’s civil war, Eden still carries many of the habits and fashions learned in her youth.Displaced by a string of events towards the end of her military career, she has been left without rank or team in the imperial homeland, but is no less driven or ambitious for it.Seeking new opportunities and projects outside the sphere of Garlemald’s influence (however reduced), Eden turned her attention to Eorzea; where she has been hard at work establishing a new private enterprise for magitek consulting and the occasional bit of 'field work'.Being an engineer by trade doesn't diminish the fact she was a highly trained military officer - and if people have the right money and incentives, field work is always still on the table.
